I'll say it again, "Finally!" I've been hearing about The Legend of Korra from Nickelodeon since 2010. Because I'm an avid fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender (the cartoon series, not the movie, puh-lease) I've been anxiously awaiting the continuation of the Avatar story with The Legend of Korra. The look of the series is just as beautiful and the characters sound quite promising.

Today in a press release, FOX announced which cartoons will be returning for their Animation Domination line-up on Sunday nights next fall. Who's missing? Allen Gregory and Napoleon Dynamite. No word whether either of those failed shows will make a mid-season appearance. But really, with such a solid line-up, why does FOX keep tinkering with new 'toons?
Fans of the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from the '80s may rejoice or cry foul at the newest version of their beloved sewer-dwelling reptiles. Nickelodeon will debut the CG-animated series Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles with a one-hour special event on Saturday, September 29 at 11:00 a.m. ET. The 26-episode, half-hour action-comedy series breathes new life into the wildly popular band of reptile brothers: Leonardo, Raphael, Michelangelo and Donatello. (Original voice of Raphael, Rob Paulsen, returns as Donatello this time around. Ubiquitous voice-over stars Mae Whitman (Avatar: The Last Airbender and Kevin Michael Richardson (The Penguins of Madagascar) will play April O'Neil and Shredder respectively.
Fans of The Simpsons will have more reason to celebrate the historic 500th episode of the longest-running scripted television show in history.
