Today school children all over the world celebrate the birthday of Dr. Seuss (a.k.a. Theodore Geisel). His books have been popular for generations. Starting in the 1960s, some of Dr. Seuss' books became cartoons. These Dr. Seuss characters remain popular cartoon characters year after year.
